Of the three rooms we booked, we found one to be well maintained even though all were adjacent to each other.
The hotel is located at the best place..next to temple and opposite to sea with all sea facing rooms... On arrival, we found that the cleanliness of the common areas cannot be faulted since they are cleaned daily. We also noticed that there is a vast difference in quality between rooms.
They refused to allow me late(slightly) check out or to keep my luggage at the reception.
The rooms are decently maintained with an LCD Tv(which didn't work in my case) and air conditioning. Check-in, check-out was quick as well and the staff wasn't accommodating but not down right rude either.
This is undoubtedly the best located hotel in Somnath as it shares a boundary with the temple and all of its rooms face the sea.
All toilets had spanking clean white commodes and wash basins but the fixtures were corroded, dirty and unappealing.
We cannot expect "star" hotel courtesies and cleanliness for the nominal 1500 rupees we pay for an air conditioned room run by a trust.
Overall we found this to be an average place to stay for a one day pilgrimage.

We were issued two towels to a room which looked like they came straight from the laundry.
The bed sheets were clean while the blankets were dusty and they have not been cleaned in a while.
The dining hall had a limited fare and the food was good and agrees with the stomach.
