Historic Dodgertown is centrally located on the East Coast of Florida with a one to two hour driving radius from Melbourne, Palm Beach and Orlando, and is one of the prime No.1 Soccer Camp facilities.
Historic Dodgertown was originally built as the Spring training headquarters for the Brooklyn (now Los Angeles) Dodgers.
Designed to meet the needs of professional athletes, Historic Dodgertown has been the training home of Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers, the National Football League's New Orleans Saints, along with numerous other NFL teams and, most recently, the Washington Freedom Women's Professional Soccer team.
The campers stay in the actual rooms the Dodgers stayed in.
They are air conditioned Villa style rooms with 3 to a room.
The rooms are basically hotel rooms, with a private bath and TV.Linens will be provided for bedding, but campers must bring their own towels for shower and pool.Campers dine in the same dining hall used by the Dodgers and the food service is excellent.Training sessions will be held on perfectly maintained outfields. There will be a snack bar available to campers after the evening session with pizza, snacks and Gatorade. The No.1 Striker Camp and No.1 Goalkeeper Camp at Historic Dodgertown attract players from all over Florida.
